The Netherlands: Avonturenpark Hellendoorn Opens “DrakenNest“

The Dutch Avonturenpark Hellendoorn recently celebrated a fiery opening of its new „DrakenNest“ Mega Disk’O coaster from Italian supplier Zamperla. The ride has been transferred from the Spanish Isla Mágica park – which just like Avonturenpark forms part of the Looping Group – to the Dutch family park, where it has been renewed and decorated.

According to the attraction’s storyline, the greedy dragon “Hellendra” lives on the edge of the park, collecting everything that glitters and shines. Over the past years, the dragon has collected a large amount of treasures in its huge nest … During the ride, visitors take on the role of brave knights to face the wildly spinning dragon. The opening of the new attraction also marks the beginning of a new cooperation between Avonturenpark and the Dutch Het Vergeten Kind (E.: “The Forgotten Child”) foundation, enabling kids great experiences during their visit to the amusement park.
