USA: Universal Orlando Resort Welcomes First Guests in New Aventura Hotel

Universal Orlando Resort has recently opened its all-new Aventura Hotel (Universal’s Aventura Hotel), which has 600 rooms and is the resort's first hotel to have a bar and grill on the rooftop. Connected to the Volcano Bay water park, which opened in 2017 (see our cover story in EAP, 6/17), the building with its floor-to-ceiling windows shines in a modern design. Further special features of the new hotel include a large food hall where guests can taste various international dishes and a Virtual Reality (VR) gaming room. The individual rooms are also technologically state-of-the-art and each equipped with a tablet computer – guests can use this e.g. to regulate the room temperature, zap through the TV or order something to eat. Shuttle transport is available to the nearby Universal Studios Florida and the Islands of Adventure theme park.

The new Aventura Hotel is the sixth hotel of Universal Orlando Resort and the fifth in partnership with New York City-based luxury hotel chain Loews Hotels & Co. (eap)
