(eap) The ageing minigolf course at the fish ponds in Paderborn, Germany, will be renovated and operated in the future by Liknaris GmbH, a subsidiary of Interakteam GmbH. To this end, the existing 18 holes and the operations building with kiosk and terrace are to be renovated and given a new lease of life.

In addition, an adventure golf course, also with 18 holes, is being created, which will incorporate regional themes such as the Externsteine (a local sandstone rock formation) and the Hermannsdenkmal (a popular German monument in the Teutoburg Forest). The course will be played on artificial turf with natural elements made of stone and wood. It is supposed to be finished for start of operations at the beginning of March and will be open at weekends and daily during the NRW school vacations. Guests will be able to choose between the classic minigolf course and adventure golf – combination tickets are also being considered. ■
